ZBA Adopts Regulations
The Zoning Board of Adjustment adopted a fresh set of regulations on September 5, 2012. As proscribed in the Home Rule Charter, the ZBA will file the regulations with the Department of Records. The Department of Records will make the regulations available for public inspection for 30 days, and give public notice by advertising in three daily newspapers. Within that 30-day period, any affected person may make a written request for a hearing before the ZBA. A report of the hearing reaffirming or modifying the regulations must be filed with the Department of Records. If no hearing is requested, the regulations become effective after the 30th day. If a hearing is requested, the regulations become effective after the tenth day following the filing of the report.
