City Councilman Frank DiCicco
District 1
Councilman Frank DiCicco is currently serving his third four-year term as Philadelphia's First District City Councilman. Councilman DiCicco is a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia and began his career in public service as a Committeeman in 1967. In 1972, he began a long stint at Philadelphia Traffic Court and retuned to the Traffic Court as Administrator in 1993, after seven years of work in the State Senate. Presently, Councilman DiCicco serves as Chair of the Streets and Services Committee. He also serves on many boards including Historic Philadelphia, Inc. the Reading Terminal Market, the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Board, Penn’s Landing Corporation, Fund for Philadelphia, the Jefferson Square CDC, and is a Commissioner to the Delaware River Port Authority. The Councilman was also very involved in planning process for the Central Delaware River Waterfront, and sponsored the legislation that created the Zoning Code Commission.r Street appointed Mr. Auspitz chairman of the Zoning Board.
