Peter Kelsen has worked at Blank Rome since 1986, with his main areas of concentration are Zoning and Land Use Law, Real Estate Development, and Real Estate Tax Assessment/Exemption Litigation. Prior to entering into private practice, Mr. Kelsen worked for the City of Philadelphia's Law Department in the Land Damages Division. During his tenure at Blank Rome, he has represented major clients in zoning matters, such as the Philadelphia Eagles, WAWA Inc., Westrum Development, the Barnes Foundation, Marriott and Kimco Realty Corporation. He has been heavily involved in the Philadelphia Bar Association for more than twenty years, serving as the Co-Chair of the Zoning and Land Use Section from 1986-1993. A frequent lecturer on Land Use issues, Mr. Kelsen also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Architecture, the Board of Directors of the Jewish National Fund of PA/NJ, and is a member of the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Building Industry Association.
