Eleanor Sharpe

Associate Director University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Community Partnerships.

Eleanor Sharpe, AICP, currently serves as an Associate Director at the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Community Partnerships where she supervises a full portfolio of projects involving sustaining, maintaining, and creating new and effective partnerships between the University and the West Philadelphia Community. Additionally, Ms. Sharpe is an adjunct instructor for planning workshops at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design in the Department of City and Regional Planning. She also recently co-taught Urban Design at Drexel University's School of Architecture. Prior to this, Ms. Sharpe worked for six years at Gannett Fleming, focusing on the areas of community planning, public involvement, way-finding and signage plans. Outside of work, she has a personal interest in public health, especially in urban environments, with particular focus on how the built environment can affect health and how health disparities need to be mitigated. She recently served on the board of the Charter High School for Architecture & Design (CHAD) in Philadelphia and currently serves on the Penn Design Alumnae Association Board.
