Al Taubenberger
Executive Director Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce
Al Taubenberger has served as the Executive Director and President of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce since 1992, and has facilitated the doubling of the GNPCC's membership from 450 to 900 members in his sixteen years. In the years prior to his appointment as Executive Director, Mr. Taubenberger served as the Chief of Staff to City Councilman Jack Kelly while simultaneously serving as the administrator of the Republican Caucus. He has been President of the Burholme Civic Association and Town Watch and a member of the Northeast Airport Advisory Committee. Mr. Taubenberger was also appointed Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Philadelphia Parking Authority by then Governor Tom Ridge, serves as the Chairman of the Taxi & Limousine Committee, and served as the Vice Chairperson of the Philadelphia Tax Reform Commission.
