Green Plan Philadelphia

GreenPlan Philadelphia is an exciting planning project that has resulted in a long-term, sustainable roadmap for using, acquiring, developing, funding, and managing open space in our City's neighborhoods.

Key components of GreenPlan Philadelphia include:

• Identifying the benefits that a greener city would provide to the environment, the economy, and quality of life.  
• Presenting an inventory of the City's current natural resources
• Proposing specific goals for a more sustainable city and identifying the agencies that will champion their implementation
• Suggesting funding strategies for the plan's implementation
• Offering evaluation tools to measure the success of the plan

GreenPlanPhiladelphia is tentatively scheduled for release by the end of Summer 2009.
